There are many ways to contribute as a Vashon HouseHold volunteer. We will soon have 14 homes under construction at our Sunflower CLT project site.  These homes will be built largely with sweat equity by families working together to build their own homes. Volunteers from the community are invited to help Vashon families realize the dream of home ownership. Skilled and unskilled volunteers are welcome to join us. Volunteers will work under the supervision of our site supervisor or the homebuilders themselves.

Other Ways to Volunteer

Our housing development work depends on the expertise of volunteers who provide technical assistance to our staff. Many of the volunteers serve on our board of directors. We need community-minded volunteers in the fields of law, finance, management, construction, real estate, grant writing, and fundraising. If you have time and energy to give, call 206-463-6454 to find out how you may be able to contribute.
